Grenville died on 23 March 1995.
He joined the 4th Queen’s Own Hussars in December 1947 while they were stationed at Colchester.
He moved with the Regiment to the Far East in August 1948 and served during their time there initially in Malaya, then Hong Kong and Singapore. He served with the Regiment in Tidworth and completed his service in February 1953.
