Brave ‘Tails’: Animals Who Served

We’re delighted to announce the second year of our popular temporary exhibition and talk, Brave ‘Tails’: Animals Who Served, at The Queen’s Royal Hussars Museum!

Join us on Thursday the 1st of October for the launch of this very special exhibition, created in collaboration with the Donkey Breed Society (Northern Region).

From 14:40 hrs until 18:30 hrs we will have two special donkeys in our courtyard with FREE ENTRY and from 18:00 hrs, we’ll continue the evening with a special talk from Sarah Booth of the Northern Donkey Breed Society, exploring the important role of animals in wartime and the work being done to remember their service and sacrifice.

The evening includes:

After-hours entry to the Museum
A buffet
Wine and soft drinks

Tickets:
£14 per person for non-Friends of the Museum
£12 per person for Friends of the Museum

£5 (suggested donation) per person for Online attendees

Unable to make it to Warwick? We are also pleased to offer an online viewing option, allowing you to watch the talk live from home.

For those who are unable to attend in person because of distance or other commitments, you can join us online for a small donation. We recommend a £5 donation, which will help support the ongoing work of the Museum.

We’d love to hear your stories, or experiences, about your time with the serving regiment, or one of our antecedent regiments.

Stories can relate to, but are not limited to:

* your experiences whilst serving;
* family life, home or overseas;
* places you enjoy visiting;
* or, photos of 5 objects that mean something to you and tell the story of who you are.

Your stories will be used as inspiration for future exhibitions, or even feature in the “articles” section.

You can send your entries in a range of formats such as photographs, artwork, drawings, in writing or via a short video.
