The Ogilby Muster

Welcome to The Ogilby Muster, an archive collection of the British Army

The Ogilby Muster

Welcome to the Ogilby Muster. On this site, you will be able to access archival material which is held across the UK in Regimental and Corps museums.

This material includes photographs, documents, maps, audio and video footage, all relating to the history of the British Army.

Whether you are researching your family history, researching uniforms, interested in vehicles or looking at the day to day lives and experiences of the British soldier, the archival collections held by the museums and made available through the Ogilby Muster will allow a unique insight.

Details on where the material is kept are also available if you wish to visit the individual museum and its collections.

This project has been funded by the Chancellor using LIBOR funds in order to preserve and make available for public and research purposes the combined archives of the Regimental and Corps Museums across the UK.

The Army Museums Ogilby Trust (AMOT) has brought the network together to deliver this online platform for public and academic study of the material.

Why not take the time to search our regimental collection archive, which is held on The Ogilby Muster.
