In July 1751, King George II ordered that the Queen’s Own Regiment of Dragoons should bear the number “7” on its appointments as an indication of its seniority, they were also given the right to bear the Queen’s cipher, still used today

We’d love to hear your stories, or experiences, about your time with the serving regiment, or one of our antecedent regiments.

Stories can relate to, but are not limited to:

* your experiences whilst serving;
* family life, home or overseas;
* places you enjoy visiting;
* or, photos of 5 objects that mean something to you and tell the story of who you are.

Your stories will be used as inspiration for future exhibitions, or even feature in the “articles” section.

You can send your entries in a range of formats such as photographs, artwork, drawings, in writing or via a short video.
