The Queen’s Royal Hussars
The Current Regiment – The Queen’s Royal Hussars (The Queen’s Own and Royal Irish) (QRH) is the senior United Kingdom armoured regiment.
It was formed on 1 September 1993 from the amalgamation of the Queen’s Own Hussars and the Queen’s Royal Irish Hussars.
The regiment and its antecedents have been awarded 175 Battle Honours and eight Victoria Crosses.

In Memoriam – It is with regret that the Regimental Association announces the deaths of our members and friends.
In November 2019 the Queen’s Royal Hussars Battle Group embarked on Operation CABRIT 5, NATO’s defence and insurance policy against threats from the East.

LCpl S. Hosell served with QRH between 2021-23. He died on the 29th of December 2023.
