About the talk

Why not come along and join us this February as historian Tony Bray uncovers how the airborne forces, both parachute and glider-borne, were developed in 1940. In addition to this, you will seen recently recorded interviews with four of our veterans, as they tell you what it was like to fly these huge gliders into a live battlefield.

We’d love to hear your stories, or experiences, about your time with the serving regiment, or one of our antecedent regiments.

Stories can relate to, but are not limited to:

* your experiences whilst serving;
* family life, home or overseas;
* places you enjoy visiting;
* or, photos of 5 objects that mean something to you and tell the story of who you are.

Your stories will be used as inspiration for future exhibitions, or even feature in the “articles” section.

You can send your entries in a range of formats such as photographs, artwork, drawings, in writing or via a short video.
