Museum Monthly Talk – ‘Tools of the Trade’
Join us for a special talk tracing the evolution of swords and rifles in the British Army—from Napoleonic sabres to modern precision weapons.

About the talk
Join us for a special talk tracing the evolution of swords and rifles in the British Army—from Napoleonic sabres to modern precision weapons. We’re also honoured to welcome the Commanding Officer of The Queen’s Royal Hussars, who will give an update on the regiment’s current role and recent activity. Part of our Tools of the Trade exhibition for Heritage Open Days (12–21 Sept), featuring rarely seen artefacts from the regimental collection.
This bespoke evening includes exclusive before- and after-hours access to the museum, with wine, soft drinks, and a buffet provided.
