Tpr J. Haggath served with the 7th Hussars. He died on the 11th of January 1951.
FQMS A. J. Darling joined the 7th Hussars in 1908 and died on the 10th of January 1950.
In the build up to D-Day we must also remember that the 3rd, 4th and 7th Hussars were all fighting in the so called soft underbelly of Italy in 1944.
At the end of hostilities in May 1945, the 7th Hussars would find themselves in Northern Italy.
Sergeant Eric Gilbert Morris joined the 7th Queen’s Own Hussars on 12th September 1934.
The Silver War Badge was issued in the United Kingdom to service personnel who had been honourably discharged due to wounds or sickness during World War I.
