It is with deep regret that we have to announce the death of Farrier Quartermaster-Sergeant Darling on 10th January, 1950.

The eldest of three brothers, all of whom served with the 7th Hussars, Sergeant-Major Darling joined the Regiment in 1908 and served with them for twenty-three years. He became F.Q.M.S. in 1929 and left the Regiment in Aldershot two years later.

He died, aged sixty-four years, at his home near Southampton.

We extend our sincere sympathy to Mrs Darling and his family in their loss.
