Burma, 1942
The campaigns in Burma covered the period of the Japanese invasion, and consequent retreat across the Chindwin, of the Anglo-Indian forces, a year of minor operations on the Indo-Burmese border, and finally the reconquest of Burma with the overwhelming defeat of the enemy.
The Honour was emblazoned by the 7th Hussars.
