North West Europe, 1944-45

British Forces landed in France with the assault on Normandy on the 6th of June, 1944, and by May, 1945, their victorious armies stood on the banks of the Elbe and the shores of the Baltic and the North Sea.

The Honour was emblazoned by the 8th Hussars.
