On 4/7/40 this Warrant Officer attacked a convoy of 50 lorries on road BARDIA-CAPUZZO.
He passed down the column firing at 150 yards range and came under A/Tk fire in the process.
He then withdrew and attacked a similar column, but although owing to shell fire he could not close nearer than 1500 yards he fired for some time and then withdrew.
The next day he destroyed the water pipe on the road and cut the telephone wires.
Apart from the above he carried out consistently good work on patrol, obtaining useful information, usually under fire.
He has consistently done good work in the field.
