Throughout this whole action on 21.11.41 at SIDI BARRANI whilst away from the Regiment with Brigade Headquarters this N.C.O. carried out his duties with exemplary coolness, efficiency and disregard for personal safety.
His leadership and energy during the heavy attack on Brigade HQ, when his own tank was destroyed and himself wounded, was an example and inspiration of the highest standard
