7th Queen's Own Hussars, Gallantry Citations, The Military Medal (MM), The Second World War

This NCO showed initiative and enterprise in a night attack on bivouacked guns and transport on the night 29/30 June, 1940.
He ran down with his tank an enemy anti-tank gun.
Then under heavy fire of guns and pom-poms he rescued all three of the crew of a disable tank and brought them out of action.
