Cpl Adny McShane who died tragically on 25 September 1979 joined the Regiment in Hong Kong in 1969.
He quickly developed to become one of the Regiment’s leading characters and will be long remembered as one of the few people who can bring to mind everyone who knew him at least one eventful chapter.
He served with the Regiment in Hong Kong, Singapore, Hohne, Detmold and finally as a D & M Instructor at Catterick.
He will be deeply missed and long remembered by us all.
