Corporal Turner, a rising star of the Regiment was a serving member of ‘D’ Squadron, The Queens Royal Hussars and died of a medical condition on the 23rd April 2013.

His passing affected all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Although not always a cavalryman, he thrived in an environment where initiative, courage, quick thinking and sometimes, balls-out obstinacy made him the most valuable soldier on the battlefield.

RIP Hussar: It’s not goodbye, but good night, we’ll see you by the new dawn’s light.
