Terry (Taffy) died on 15th August 1988.

He joined the 4th Queen’s Own Hussars in March 1948 after transferring to the RAC from the General Service Corps, he saw service in Hong Kong, Malaya and the Middle East.

He became a Queen’s Royal Irish Hussar on amalgamation and saw further service in Aden, Malaya and BAOR.

He left the Regiment in August 1970 on completion of 23 years of service and settled down in the Caerphilly area north of Cardiff.

Terry was unfortunate in having had a leg amputated in August 1988 due to artery trouble.
