Ken died on 16th March 1994.
He joined the 4th Queen’s Own Hussars in April 1946, having served with the Recce Training Centre RAC. He served in Northern Italy with the Regiment before moving to Lübeck in Germany in March 1947.
Ken was released to the Army Reserve on 2nd May 1948. He was discharged on 4 September 1949 and re-enlisted into the Royal Armoured Corps Territorial Army and posted to the Shropshire Yeomanry. He was discharged from the Yeomanry in September 1951. He lived in Telford.
Ken was a loyal and supportive member of the Regimental Association, and the Regimental Secretary used to meet up with him on his visits to Telford to see Victoria Sym.
