Mark died on 28 December 1993 after a 9-month fight against cancer. He was buried at his home in Warrington on 7 January 1994.
He joined The Queen’s Royal Irish Hussars in 1985 whilst they were in Münster. He also served with the Regiment in Catterick, Fallingbostel and, more recently, on the UN tour in Cyprus, where he worked in the Officers’ Mess.
Mark was a quiet, cheerful man who will be sadly missed.
