Lt Col Thomas Woodcock died in June 1968, aged 78.

He enlisted into the 7th Queen’s Own Hussars in 1906 as a Saddler. He left the 7th Hussars in 1911 on transfer to the R.A.O.C. serving in India, rising to the rank of Conductor.

He was commissioned in 1936 and in 1945 he was awarded the M.B.E. He retired from the Army in 1945 as a Lieutenant-Colonel.

Although he served for a long time in the Indian Army he was very proud of his first Regiment.

Our deepest sympathy is extended to his wife and daughter.
