Kenneth died on 12 March 1991.
He was posted to the 4th Queen’s Own Hussars on the Curragh in October 1916.
He was in the British Expeditionary Force and served with them from October 1917 to August 1918 when he was evacuated to the UK after being wounded.
He remained hospitalised until April 1919. Subsequently, he served in the Remount Depot at Romsey and Swathling.
He retired on half-pay in January 1920 and retired fully in 1925.
He rejoined for duty in September 1940 and was posted to the 61st Training Regiment RAC at Tidworth.
In March 1942 he was appointed Assistant Commander of the Aldershot Detention Barracks in the rank of Captain.
In October 1944 he was promoted to Major and posted to MP and DB as a Company Commander. He was released in 1945.
He kept in touch with the Regimental Association and often passed on items of interest concerning former members of the 4th Hussars.
