Major Dick Yeomans died on May 10th, 1968, as the result of an accident at the age of 64.

He enlisted in 1919 as a band boy and joined the 7th Hussars from the 15/19th Hussars in 1929, becoming a Troop Sgt.-Major in 1938.

He was commissioned in the Middle East in 1941 and joined the R.E. serving in the Movement Control Section. He retired from the army in 1954.

A good supporter of the Regt. Association, he will be missed by all his friends.
