Major “Pip” Coddington died on August 9th, 1967, at the age of 55.

He joined the R.T.R. in 1931 and was commissioned in 1942 joining the Inns of Court Regiment.

In 1947 he joined the 7th Hussars in Germany becoming Technical Adjutant, an appointment he held with a short break until 1950. He then went to E.R.E. retiring from the army in 1955.

“Pip” was a popular officer with a good sense of humour and he will be missed by all those who knew him. He was married with three children one of whom, Cpl. Coddington served in the Regiment.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to his family.
