Frank was born in Tottenham in 1893 and enlisted into the 8th King’s Royal Irish Hussars in 1911, where he would ship off to India.

In October 1914 he would deploy with the Regiment to France, the 8th Hussars being part of the Indian Cavalry Division.

He was reported injured and missing after the fighting in Amiens on 21st March 1918 and was assumed dead on or about that date, his body was never recovered.

He was married to Martha and had a brother Sergeant C Vessey who also served in the Regiment.
