RQMS Venting died on the 24th of January 1958.
Record of Service: Joined 7th Hussars in May 1907. Transferred to the 3rd Hussars in Pretoria, South Africa 1908, and served with the Regiment until being discharged to pension in 1929, holding the appointment of R.Q.M.S.
Service abroad: South Africa, India, France, 1914 to 1918, Germany to 1920, Turkey, Egypt and India.
