Nigel joined the JLR in August 1975 then moved to Paderborn in October 1976 to join QRIH.
He served most of his time with the Regiment in HQ Squadron as part of MT Troop and was promoted to MT sergeant in 1989 at Bovington. Nigel enjoyed participating in and supporting most sports within the Regiment and he played a decent standard of football representing the squadrons he served with.
Later on, he took a great interest in and enjoyed playing golf.
Although he served most of his career in Germany, he also served in UK, Cyprus and Canada, Nigel left the Army on ‘Options for Change’ and settled in NI with Michelle and his young family to whom we extend our sincere sympathy.
