It is with great regret that to inform you that Mr. A. Wilkins, late S.Q.M.S., ‘A’ Squadron, passed away on Sunday, 8th September 1953. He had a peaceful ending, having been well and hearty the previous day.

Mr Wilkins left the Regiment in 1915, having completed twenty-one years of service. He served in the South African and 1914-18 campaigns.

This old warrant officer served in the Home Guard throughout the last war.
