It is with deep regret that we announce the death in Millbank Hospital on July 26th, 1967, of SSgt Nicol.
He joined the Army in 1945 and was transferred to the 3rd Hussars from the Derbyshire Yeomanry in 1948. Throughout his long service, he was a most popular and loyal member of the Regiment.
His cremation at Aldershot was attended by Major Sutherland, Major Schwabe and members of the W.O.s’ and Sergeants’ Mess. Bdsm Martyr sounded the Last Post and Reveille.
His many friends in the Regiment extend their deepest sympathy to his wife and two daughters.
