Tpr Brownhill was Cpl Moreton’s gunner and died in the same tragic accident on Tuesday 27 November 1989.
Tpr Brownhill had only been in ‘C’ Squadron and the Regiment for a few months.
During that short time, he had shown great character and skill in everything that he did, enjoying soldiering to the full. His contemporaries will remember him for his cheerful and happy attitude.
He will be sadly missed as he quickly became a member of the ‘C’ Squadron team.
