Frank died on 25 November 1998.

He joined the Army in 1941 and after his basic military training, joined the 8th King’s Royal Irish Hussars in the Middle East.

Throughout the war years he served with ‘B’ Squadron of the 8th Hussars, in Africa, France and Germany, he was a very experienced crewman and was an asset to the Regiment during his stay with them.

He retired from the Regiment in 1946, returning to his home town of Cleethorpes, he continued to serve with the Territorial Army for many years.

Frank was a very loyal member of the Regimental Association.
