Graham Clarke was tragically killed in a road accident on 28 June 1986.

Graham joined the Irish Hussars in Tidworth in 1980 and spent a short time in Command Troop before being posted to ‘C’ Squadron at Warminster.

He became a good tank driver and moved as a tank driver with the Regiment to Munster in 1982. Once in Munster he attended a Clerks course and worked in the QM (Tech) department before leaving the Army in October 1985.

During his 3 years of service, Graham had shown that fun and hard work can always be combined; he was a strong team member.

On release from the Regiment, he worked for British Rail.
