Norman died on 14 August 1988.
He joined the 4th Queen’s Own Hussars in November 1941 in the Desert, from the Training Regiment.
Unfortunately, he was captured at Knightsbridge and remained a Prisoner of War until the cessation of hostilities.
Owing to ill health he was discharged in October 1945.
