We regret to report the death in a tank accident of Tpr Sydney Banks on the 3rd of March, 1955.
Tpr Banks joined the 3rd Hussars, “C” Squadron, in February 1954, and quickly made many friends.
At the wish of his parents, his body was flown to England to be buried in his home town of Hull, and wreaths representing all ranks of the Regiment were placed on the grave.
Our most sincere sympathy goes to his parents in their sad loss.
