Frank died on 22 August 1994.
He joined the 3rd King’s Own Hussars in 1938, while they were stationed at Tidworth. He sailed with them to Egypt in August 1940 via the Cape of Good Hope. He took part in the desert campaign of 1941.
He was in Famagusta, Cyprus, with the Regiment from August 1941 until March 1942.
He returned with the Regiment to Egypt and remained with them on their move to Lebanon.
In April 1944 he sailed to Italy with the Regiment and took part in their many successful battles, returning home in February 1945.
He was discharged in June 1946.
