R.S.M. P. McCosh died in Brisbane, Australia early in 1968.

He will be remembered by much older 7th Hussars as a most popular and efficient N.C.O., and an outstanding games player.

He was a member of the hockey team which won the All India Challenge Cup in 1922, and was capped for Scotland when the Regiment was in Edinburgh a year or two later; he was also a very good cricketer.

After some years as S.S.M. of “B” Squadron, he left in 1935 to be R.S.M. of the Leicestershire Yeomanry. The 1968 newsletter of that Regiment recalls the very wonderful send-off he was given when he left them in 1938.
