God’s Little Acre, Malaya
During the Malayan Emergency, the 4th Queen’s Own Hussars lost eight of their soldiers.
They are all buried at a Military Cemetery called God’s Little Acre; at Batu Gajah, Perak.
They are:
- Lt M Questier,
- RSM R Read MBE,
- Cpl J Finch,
- Tpr B Grayson,
- Tpr S Hunter,
- Tpr T Johns,
- Tpr B Lynch,
- Tpr D Mitchell.
Each year a ceremony is organised by the Perak Planters Association in memory of all of the civilians, local security forces and British Armed Forces who died during the Emergency.
