This officer has done consistently well throughout this campaign.

At MICHELI he was on patrol with his troop and under cover of a sandstorm got within 600 yards of the fort inflicting considerable casualties on some infantry in doing so. Very heavy A/Tk and shell fire was then opened on them.

He was withdrawing his troop when his tank was hit and disabled, with complete disregard to his own safety he evacuated the crew of his tank and then set fire to it.

The information obtained by his patrol was of utmost value.
