This officer has displayed consistent courage and ability throughout many months of fighting. On 15th July 1940 he located enemy A/T guns. Approaching to within easy range he drew heavy fire.

The information he obtained was of great value when the regiment attacked next day.

On July 5th, 1940, he ambushed an enemy patrol on the road CAPUZZO-BARDIA, killing several and taking 8 prisoners.

On Jan 24 1941 with conspicuous dash and ability he held up an enemy column on the road DERNA-MECHILI and his accurate and timely reports of the approach of enemy medium tanks were of the utmost value to his Squadron Leader.

These are only a few instances of his sterling work.
