Captain John Bentley-Taylor died on the 10th of June 1980, aged 63 years.

He joined The 3rd Hussars in 1939 and left the Army in 1946.

He was awarded the M.C. in the Desert in 1941 for gallantry.

He went with ‘B’ Squadron to Java in 1942 and was captured by the Japanese along with the remainder of his Squadron and eventually assumed Command of the captive squadron.

Our deepest sympathy is extended to his wife.
