Jeff died on 18 November 1994.
He joined the 4th Queen’s Own Hussars at Opicina, Northern Italy, in October 1946 and was posted to 3 Troop ‘B’ Squadron, with whom he remained for the whole of his service.
He moved with the Regiment to Lübeck in March 1947 and returned with them to Colchester in November 1947.
At the same time, he was promoted to lance corporal, having been LULC for a few months earlier in the year. In the Far East, he served in Malaya, Hong Kong and Singapore.
He took was discharged from the Regiment in February 1953.
